All good things must come to an end.

After more than 3 years The Body Politik will be closing down. Although this will be an end for TBP it means new opportunities, adventures and challenges for Max and Polly. We're not leaving SL which has been a part of our lives since 2005. SL has changed a lot in those 5 years and it's time for us to move on to other things. The doors will be closing some time by the end of Aug.

What does that mean for you? SALES!

Until we decide to close the doors we are having a fond farewell sale. Everything in the store is on sale! Skins for as low as 250L, fantasy avatars and skins on sale (for the first time) at half price, jewelry, clothing and other items for as low as 10L! Even our Infinity skins custom skin creator website has had the base price lowered by 50%. Many of these items will forever be discontinued so grab them while you can.

Ok, so normally I wouldn't feeling making a new bag for the store would be blog worthy but I think this one is pretty cool.

After putting out the Infinity skins I really needed a week off to recharge my batteries. Of course, for me a week off means I end up fooling around in Maya or Zbrush to make stuff I wouldn't normally allow myself time to do. Our old store bag was getting rather long in the tooth and really needed an update so I started working on a sculpted one.

After I finished I had a pretty decent new black leather bag with our logo on the side. Polly requested I add in some tissue paper to make it look more like a gift bag. I wasn't too terribly fond of the idea but I did it anyway just because it made her happy. After that I started to think of some other things I could add to the bag. One idea lead to another and, well, 2 days later I ended up with this:

I originally made it just for fun but we liked it so much we decided to make it our new bag. Oh, and just because I can never leave well enough alone I also made the tissue paper colour changable, so if you anyone did want to display the bag somewhere you can just click it to change the colour of the paper.

So all the new products that get delivered in bags (including the new pearls we just put out and any new Infinity Skins orders) will be using this one. We figure we'll change it up from time to time if we can find the time. We'll see how it goes!

These Prim Nails come in 2 styles, Square Tip or Round Tip, and include 4 different sizes (10,20,30 and 40). You can easily choose from over 25 solid colors and 9 french tip nail polish colors with a simple drop down menu.

Each set of Nails contains a hand position animation to keep your hands in a relaxed, natural pose while wearing them.

We've included a tintable glove you can wear under the prim nails if you choose. Tint it to match your skin and the Prim Nails will look flawless on your hands.

However, What makes this system really unique is our installable Prim Nail Art!

No need to buy multiple sets of Prim Nails. Our Nail Art installs itself to your nails with a simple one touch installer. You can change the textures on the Nail Art from the same menu you use to change the nail polish. You can choose to hide or show different sets of Nail Art so you can install more then one set.

Currently we have four sets of Nail Art Available: Roses, Rhinestones, Gem Hearts and Open Hearts. These designs feature various customizable elements (some even have hip nail dangles, the latest in Nail Art fashion!) which allow you to choose the ornament metal type as well as the gemstone/rhinestones to get hundreds of different looks. Mix and match 2 sets together for even more options!
