I want to say a big thanks to Polly for sending the unscripted pearls, I hope you make these available to all purchasers as an option. Its great to see a designer that actually responds to customer issues, even if they are phrased a but rudely.

I just want to clarify a little on the last paragraph of my previous pose, it wasn't aimed entirely at The Body Politik but is the result of frustration with a number of well known (but will remain unnamed) jewellery creators that use texture change scripts. I've contacted some of these creators and while some just ignore me, one actually argued that the 1.5ms usage (remember that a sim only has about 22ms of script time available) was not a problem.

So a big thanks to Polly again, and apologies for letting my frustration with others out on your blog.

Its a nice necklace, its just a shame it uses 0.5ms script time on its own just for the texture change scripts. That makes it unusable to me. I'd much rather have 8 copies each with a different texture than a texture change version.

When are jewellery makers going to realise that they can't be so irresponsible when it comes to script usage?

I'm not sure exactly which other skin designer you're referring to (I assume Soda?) but I can guarantee we had started working on this well over a year ago (april 2008 to be exact) and the design was already in place when their skin creator was released. I actually based the design off the system that is use in many games for creating your characters, it's a pretty common system which explains the similarities.

As for our claim we state "For the first time in Second Life you are able to customize almost every aspect of your skin" which is true, as far as I know no other custom skin designer before ours allows you to customize things like body options.

this is cool, but you really shouldn't keep saying you are the first to do this, since it was done over a year ago by someone else. I am pretty sure you got your idea from them, since it's almost identical.

No SLURL for the creator because that part is web based. As for the release date, before the end of the month is the best we can do at this point ;) We should have a preview for people to play with before we officially launch though so stay tuned!

I was looking for "hoaded cloak" "warrior" and photoshop and stumbled on your site...in the words of Borat: "very NICE" :):)....i especially like the warrior in brown hood. Reminds me of Richard in "legend of the Seeker" series...have you seen it?
